About Francesca
Hello, I’m Francesca. AKA Fran.
I’m a Leeds-based freelance social media specialist and copywriter, who is the proud owner of a creative brain and has a penchant for the written word. My passion for creative writing started when I was a teenager. You’d often find me scribbling into my diary, outlining the daily trials and tribulations that screamed ‘teen spirit’. My head was usually buried in a book somewhere (and often is today!), which allowed me to explore different creative routes through storytelling.
My love for reading and writing evolved as I grew older, and even branched out into other languages. I studied towards a degree in Spanish and Public Relations, so was lucky enough to spend a year in Madrid as part of my course. An absolutely life-changing experience for a 21-year-old.
After graduating from university in 2012, I spent 7 years at some of Leeds’ most well-known, award-winning creative agencies, working on clients including Bio-Oil UK, The Co-operative Bank, Yorkshire Water and Provident Financial.
I took the plunge and decided to leave agency life behind, going freelance at the start of 2020, right before the coronavirus pandemic hit. I’ve since been working with a range of clients across manufacturing, higher education, health & wellness, food and drink, retail, and more.
I’m also proud to support a range of PR, marketing, and creative agencies across the UK.

In my spare time, you’ll find me travelling the world. When I’m at home, you’ll often find me nestled into a paperback, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, or bingeing on the hottest Netflix series.
